Before working at Cablevey, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I was a Dental Assistant for before I worked here, so every day was very interesting.  

How did you first learn about Cablevey?
I honestly never really knew what it was, I always drove past it and was one of those people who thought it was a cable company. My mother-in-law worked here for years and always talked about it, but that’s about it!

What do you like most about Cablevey?
I love the people I work with and the flexibility of being able to take the time off.

What is your proudest moment at Cablevey?
Just being able to help the customers in a tough time and genuinely make them happy. It always makes me feel better when I make someone’s day better.

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?
I don’t think I look like anyone, but Jenna Fischer would probably fit my personality.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.
I love to decorate cupcakes. So I always get really excited when my kids’ birthdays come around. But don’t get that confused with cooking, I hate cooking!

What is number one on your bucket list?
To allow myself to leave my kids sometimes and travel. There are some countries I’d like to see!

What tv show/movie are you ashamed to admit you love?
Well, I’m not really ashamed but I should be, but Teen Mom J

If you could only drink one kind of beer for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
I’m not a beer drinker, never have been. So, Tito’s Vodka.

If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?
Fire starter, knife, and a tent.

If your house was burning down, what is the one non-living thing you would save?
My flash drives with pictures on them.

What places have you lived in?
Oskaloosa, Ottumwa, Ankeny, Mt. Pleasant, Bloomfield, Eddyville, Fremont. (I haven’t made it very far.)

If you could meet anyone in the world (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
Thomas Rhett because he’s beautiful.

What is the weirdest thing you’ve eaten?
I won’t eat weird things, so the weirdest thing I can think of is goat meat.

Motto or personal mantra?
You are the CEO of your life. Hire, fire, and promote accordingly.

What are three career lessons you’ve learned thus far?

  2.       Under promise and over deliver
  3.       Don’t take anything personally

What are your hopes for our industry?
That we can keep growing and strive as a company.
