Last week, Cablevey celebrated the official opening of our new facility in Darwen, UK. This event not only marked our commitment to providing efficient material handling solutions but also allowed our customers and suppliers to explore our state-of-the-art facilities.
As part of the Advanced Material Processing and Automated Handling Solutions group, this is a joint venture with Spiroflow, Kason and Marion Process Solutions. Together, we manufacture equipment for customers throughout the UK and Europe, all produced right here in the UK.
The event included guided tours of our offices, our build bays, parts storage sections and our test bay, where we had live demonstrations of equipment from all four brands. For Cablevey, we had our 6” tubular drag conveyor operating with rice which feed into a Spiroflow bulk bag filler. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and observe the equipment operating. The event also included speeches from Ben Aryton, managing director/VP operations supply chain Europe – AHS & AMP, Seth Vance, CEO, and the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, Councillor Brian Taylor.
We are grateful to everyone who attended the event and we look forward to seeing our new facility in operation.
