Plastic Conveyor System

Cable & Tube Plastic Conveyor System

Our plastic conveyor system is engineered to move powdered, flake, pellets and fluff plastics without the friction or heat associated with moving plastics. This alleviates elastic separation that often occurs when plastics heat up during production processes. Cable and tube plastic conveying systems move plastics, including regrind, with minimized friction to reduce work stoppages due to plastic accumulations.

High-Volume & High-Efficiency

Most plastic conveyor systems move bulk materials in high-volume requiring efficient, high-speed and high-volume conveyance. We understand that margins are often thin so cost-effective, reliable, low wastage and safe conveying systems are a must. Our 6″ diameter conveyor system is therefore our most popular for this application. These systems can move up to 1,240 Ft³ (35.4 M³)/hour or 45,000 pounds/hour.

Clean & Safe Handling

Cable and tube plastic conveyor systems make for clean handling via a sealed environment that minimizes waste and reduces contamination of both your materials and your processing plant.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Can pre-batched or variable size regrind plastics be moved with cable & tube plastic conveyor systems?

Yes. Our plastic conveyor system safely moves all kinds of plastics including pellets and regrinds, all of varying bulk density ratings. The safe movement of variable density mixes is made possible by cable & tube technology that contains mixed ingredients in sealed capsules that keeps all contents safe during movement.

Can cable & tube plastic conveyor systems safely contain materials during the production process?

Yes. The enclosed tube environment keeps plastic materials including powders, pellets and flakes contained and safe while in transit. Enclosed tubes also serve to keep wastage low and your plant clean.

How are tube conveyors cleaned?

Wet, dry and in-line cleaning options are available. As part of our engineering and service process, we will work with you to specify the best cleaning solution for your needs and train you on how to use specified equipment.
